# Reporting false positives and negatives

Your team can flag a PreCrime classification you believe is wrong. The BforeAI team reviews each report and uses it to fine-tune PreCrime's identification for your brand.

## Reporting a false positive

Use this when you think something was flagged as malicious but is actually legitimate.

* On an [attack detail page](/docs/console/disrupted-attacks/attack-details.md), click the **False positive** button.
* On the [Trademarks page](/docs/console/my-assets/trademarks.md), click **Report false positive** on an item.

The "Report False Positive" dialog shows the domain being reported. Select a reason from the dropdown (required), optionally add a comment with more context, and click **Submit**. You will see a confirmation that your request has been submitted.

## Reporting a false negative

Use this when something was discarded as harmless but you believe it is a threat.

On the [Discarded threats page](/docs/console/my-assets/discarded-threats.md), click **Report false negative** on an item. The dialog asks for a comment describing why it is a false negative (required), then **Report** submits it for review.

## Who can report

Reporting false negatives, and the review actions on the Trademarks, Owned, and Discarded pages, are available to Admin users. Reporting a false positive from an attack detail page is available to any user.
